This Privacy Policy explains how YouGoTiT ("YouGoTiT," "we," "us," or "our") collects,
uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services
(the "Service"), available through yougotitapp.com.
YouGoTiT is a marketplace that connects people who post tasks ("Requesters") with people
who accept and complete them ("Providers"). By using the Service, you agree to the
practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address, a password, your first and last name, and your phone number. If you register as a Provider, we also collect the service category or categories you choose.
Business information. If you register a business profile, we collect your business name, contact name, business address, city, ZIP code, phone number, business type, and any descriptive tags you add.
Task and communication content. The tasks you post or accept (title, description, comments, amount) and the messages you exchange with other users through our in-app chat.
Support requests. Information you send us when you contact support, including account-deletion and password-change requests.
Information collected automatically
Location data. With your permission, we collect your device's precise location (latitude and longitude) to match Requesters and Providers, show tasks near you, and provide map directions. We may store your most recent location and the time it was recorded so the Service can function while you are active.
Device and push tokens. If you enable notifications, we collect and store a push notification token associated with your device so we can deliver alerts about tasks and messages.
Usage and connection data. Basic technical information generated as you use the app, such as session activity and connection status used to power real-time chat and matching.
Payment information
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you make a payment,
your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe under their own privacy
practices — we do not store your full payment card number. We retain limited records such as
your account balance, transaction status, and subscription status.
2. How We Use Information
To create and manage your account and authenticate logins.
To match Requesters with Providers and facilitate tasks, including sharing relevant contact and location details between matched users so a task can be completed.
To enable real-time chat between users.
To process payments, subscriptions, and account balances.
To send notifications about tasks, messages, and account activity.
To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
With other users. When a task is accepted, certain details are shared between the matched Requester and Provider — such as names, phone numbers, the task location, and chat messages — so the task can be completed.
With service providers. We share information with third parties that help us operate the Service. These include the providers listed below.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of YouGoTiT, our users, or the public.
In a business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Location Data
Location is central to how YouGoTiT works. We use your location to find nearby tasks and
Providers and to provide directions. You can control location access through your device's
settings at any time, but disabling it will limit core features of the Service, such as
matching and navigation.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the
Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except
where we are required or permitted to retain it (for example, transaction records needed for
accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance).
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Passwords are stored in hashed form
rather than as plain text, data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and data
is hosted with established cloud infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or
storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Access and update. You can view and edit your profile information (name, phone number, and service categories) within the app's settings.
Account deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@yougotitapp.com.
Notifications and location. You can manage push notifications and location access through your device settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as the right to access,
correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain
processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate
against you for exercising any of these rights.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information,
please contact us so we can remove it.
9. International Users
YouGoTiT is operated and hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside
the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the
United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last
updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of
the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
